The defendant, Dion Bush, appeals from a judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54a (a) and conspiracy to commit murder in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-48*fn1 and 53a-54a (a). On appeal,*fn2 the defendant claims that the trial court improperly: (1) denied his motion to sever his trial from that of his co-defendant; (2) admitted evidence relating to his membership in a gang; and (3) admitted evidence of verbal threats made against state's witnesses as evidence of the defendant's consciousness of guilt. We affirm the judgment of conviction.
